| The Showpiece of the East West Mutual Looking——The Content of Macau Ancient and Modern “Implanted” Literature |

| Abstract:Macau ancient and modern “implanted” literature, a lot of poetry left behind by literati from Mainland China during their residence or trip in Macau, formed the main current and phenomenon of the literature during this period. One of its distinctive features is its mutual looking between East and West, but not a conscious blending. The effect of this model East West mutual looking will be valuable for us to understand the encounter and collision between Eastern Western culture and literature when we research the footprint of Macau literature. This article focuses on the content of Macau ancient and modern “implanted” literature. |
