| Double Lack of History and Logic——A Critical Analysis of Bakhtin’S Carnival Theory |

| Abstract:Bakhtin’S Carnival Theory is constructed on the foundation of distorted historical description．A series of major conclusions of cultural history,like“two systems of life and thought”，“a carnival sense of the world”．and“the open structure of great dialogue”，are all imaginary theories based on insubstantially historical description．The imagination greatly distorts the real nature and cultural function of the carnival，and fabricates the cultural confliction and value confrontation between the carnival and official religious culture．As a systematic fabrication of cultural history,it lacks both historical and logical significance fundamentally． |
