| Possessive Indivilualism Criticism Prerequiste of Macpherson Political Thought |

| Abstract:The 20th century, Macpherson creatively put forward the possessive individualism criticism. He revealed the supremacy of self and social tendency of atoms in liberal theory. It deeply analyzed the infinite desire tools for processing the internal defects in the free capitalism society. It pointed clearly that the free capitalism as a result of self desire on personal morality devoid of disadvantages. Although there was some limitations in Macpherson’s exposure and criticism, he gave us the warning to maintain the balance between the individual rights and public interests, the balance between Instrumental rationality and value rationality, and the balance between property pursue and enhance the individual virtue, while the society was developed. |
