中文摘要:《妇女杂志》是中国女性报刊史上历时最长的刊物,且在当时社会中有广泛的影响力。《妇女杂志》诞生于新旧杂陈的社会背景中,在商务印书馆对文化与商业的共同考量中历经了从保守到激进再到保守的话语变迁,建构起贤妻良母式的“家庭”女性和独立平等的“社会”女性两种女性形象,而其女性启蒙效果却乏善可陈。究其原因,《妇女杂志》所透出的女性启蒙图景处于救亡图存的社会历史语境中,虽然通过刊物出版传播了启蒙思想,但在民族救亡的历史浪潮中,女性启蒙终究只是镜花水月。

A Tentative Study on the Communication Practice of The Women’s Journal (1915-1931)
Abstract:The Women’s Journal, as the one enjoyed the longest duration of distribution in the history of Chinese women publications, was extensively influential in the then society. It was published in the transition from an old society to a modern society and underwent a discourse evolution from conservatism to radicalism and back to conservatism because of a balance of cultural and commercial considerations of the commercial press. It established two different images of women, namely, the domestic women as good wives and mothers and the independent social women. But it achieved little in enlightening the women at that time. The magazine transmitted its ideas of female enlightenment in a special social historical context, which is doomed to be in vain.
