| A Study on the Duty Spirit of Huxiang Culture from Wang Chuan-shan’s Responsibility Awareness |

| Abstract:Wang chuan-shan regarded the whole society as his own duty. He emphasized that scholars should have the social responsibility for the fate of their country. Pragmatism, understanding the law according to the change were the main spirit of Huxiang culture. The duty spirit of Huxiang culture not only played an active role on promoting good and resisting evil, inspired Huxiang children work hard for the state and people, but also enlightened the contemporary scholars’ hardworking spirit and assume the historical task of revitalizing China. |
