| 中文摘要:对先秦诸子的称呼，一般是姓氏后面加“子”，如孔子、庄子等。而《史记》说老子姓李名耳，于是关于李耳为什么有违惯例地被称为“老子”，便成为历代学者聚讼纷纭的一个难题。我们认为，老子既姓李，同时也姓老，因为先秦的贵族可以同时具有几个姓氏。 |

| On Lao tze's Name |

| Abstract:The pre-qin scholars, is usually behind the surname “son”, such as Confucius and Zhuangzi. Shiji said Lao tze 's name is Li Er, then why Li Er against practice known as “Lao zi” becomes a difficult problem in past dynasties . We think that Lao tze surnamed both Li and Lao, because the pre-qin nobles can possess several names. |
