中文摘要:导向符号的构建既不是简单粗暴的符号“打劫”,也不是盲目的符号“堆砌”,而是一个严谨的符号表意过程,其间每个符号节点都应是让空间特性便于识别的个体表征,符号形体针对符号对象(“人”和“文化”)提出相应的符号解释,并传达信息以简化人们对空间的认知。导向符号所营造的“场”其实是一种实践体系,它不仅提供功能作用,同时也是文化和情感的“容器”。客观上由“造型”到“服务”的转向是由符号特性和符号活动的规律所决定,同时也是空间导向设计观念进化的必然结果。

“Human being-Symbol-Culture”:The Symbolic Logic of Space-oriented Design
Abstract:Oriented symbol is neither a simple and crude “robbery”, nor blindly symbol “stuffing”, but a strict sign ideographic process, during which each symbol should be spatial characteristics to facilitate the identification of individual characterization, symbols body against symbolic objects (“people” and “culture”), the appropriate interpretation of the symbols and convey information to simplify the process of people's cognitive space. Oriented symbols created by “field” in fact, is a practical system, it not only provides a functional role, but also the cultural and emotional “container”.
