Xiang Military and Political Ecology in Late Qing Dynasty

Abstract:The rising of Xiang Military was an important turning point in late Qing Dynasty,which was based on patriarchal links,with confucianism for running the army,maintaining in moral authority,had a significant impact on the social disorganization,resulting in social deviation and weakening national identity,so as to make a denouement ready for political evolution in the period of Republic of China.
