| An Empirical Study on Relations between Organizational Characteristics,〖JP〗Environment and Board Size: The Case of Chinese Foundations |

| Abstract:Resource demand, type of organization and donor dependence influence significantly board size and donor dependence influence negative board size through the mediating effect of environment. We also confirm the significant influence of the amount and distribution of resources in the environment on the board size, the foundation has a largest size board in the environment of resource cluster and lack compared with other type of environment. |
