The Contribution of Confucius to the Civilization of Rites and Music in China

Abstract:This paper discusses the basic features of Confucius' ideology of ritual study based on the research on the literature including Analects of Confucius,Confucius Jia Yu,Confucius Biography and so on; The focal point of the paper emphases on illustrating the theoretical principle and practical spirit of Confucius' contribution to the traditional ritual system, the rite and morality, and the study of ritual system of China.
