| Abstract:The social resilience opened a new risk management and evaluation tool. A comprehensive evaluation index system of the economic resilience is built, which includes economic stability, market efficiency, governance ability, social development, and informatization level based on the theory of economic resilience. By adopting provincial panel data and introducing information entropy method to revise the weights, the economic resilience and its spatial distribution characteristics are estimated from the provincial structure, geographic area and clustering and other more measurements. The results show that, the economic resilience shows an upward trend in China, but its growth is slowing; the economic resilience has typical regional distribution characteristics. Social development index, informatization development index, and market efficiency index are important driving factors of the ascension of economic resilience level for different regions, but both the lower governance capability index and dropping economic stability index are the main restricted variables to enhance the economic resilience in China. |
