| The Aim of Academy Education and Its Relation with Neo-Confucianism in Southern Song Dynasty |

| Abstract:The expanding of academies in Confucians' classical learning was tightly combined with the flourishing of Neo-Confucianism. With the aim of reviving the Classical Confucianism, advocating pragmatic education objectives, internal saints and external kings, Neo-Confucians promoted the academy culture in Southern Song Dynasty (BCE. 1127-1279) and founded the unofficial ideological basis for the academy as one independent education system. |
