| 中文摘要:梁启超对时务学堂评价颇高，而言及后来的教育界，则多表忧思。从清末时期之新式学堂，到民国年间的大学建设，梁氏皆曾亲任其事，出于切身体会的思考，也因而更具价值。时务学堂聘梁启超为教习，乃因其新学造诣与变法立场，契合于湖南士绅讲求实学、开通风气的诉求；梁氏则将在湘事业，视为贯彻康派方针的良机。时务学堂育才良多，得力于维新时代的学风所成，梁氏等人对“立志”诸义的强调，也切中当下教育的某些偏弊。 |

| Liang Qichao and the Shiwu Academy |

| Abstract:In talking about the past education，Liang Qichao spoke highly of the Shiwu Academy，as contrasted with his later educational career which expressed a lot of his concern. Liang Qichao was a participant of the reform from late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China，his ways of thinking have many valuable revelations. Because of Liang's attainment of new learning and his revolutionary standpoint which met the needs of new policies in Hunan，the Shiwu Academy decided to employ him . For his part，Liang Qichao regarded the cause in Hunan as an opportunity for serving the weak country .The Shiwu Academy trained a lot of talented people，it benefited from its good atmosphere. Liang Qichao and his comrades always helped students to set up great ambition，it is the fine tradition at that time，and it is still of some significance to us today. |
