| 中文摘要:纽约大觉寺、庄严寺、南山寺、湛山精舍、洛杉矶佛光山西来寺，以及美国佛教慈济基金会、加拿大佛教会、美国佛教会的建立及其全球化的努力，说明中国佛教能够在北美广为传播，这得益于僧人与居士共同推动的全球化努力，二者各自有着不可替代的作用，缺一不可。中国自古以来严格的佛教“丛林”制度和儒家伦理是确保佛教能够在北美乃至全球持续传播正能量的文化基础。 |

| Establishment of Some Chinese Buddhist Bodhimandalas in North America and Their Globalization Efforts |

| Abstract:Through discussing the establishment of some Chinese Buddhist Bodhimandalas in North America and their globalization efforts, this paper shows that the spread of Chinese Buddhism in North America owes to the joint globalization efforts of the monks, nuns and secular devotees, each has his own role and it is irreplaceable; it also points out that the strict cong-lin system of Chinese Buddhism since ancient times and the Confucian ethics are the positive energies to ensure the continual spread of Buddhism in North America and the world. |
