中文摘要:晚明是理学与文学的共同转折期,二者之间必然存在一定的联系。少数学者对此虽已有所揭橥,但仍未引起重视。要全面厘清二者关系,首先必须对晚明理学代表人物的文学观念进行研究。冯从吾作为晚明理学大家,其文道观具有一定的独特性,总体上围绕“做圣人易,做文人难”的诠释展开,在以否定文学为主的同时,又对文学高度关注,呈现出对文学警觉的态度。冯从吾文道观念与晚明理学环境及其本人理学思想结合极为紧密。他对“性善”本体形上性的重视切断了“文以载道”的可能,而他在对以“文学之士”为代表的“聪明之士”不遗余力辩驳的背后,实际是对王学左派“异端”思想的不懈辩驳。

A Study of Feng Congwu’s Viewpoints on Literature and Tao from the Perspective of Neo-Confucianism in the Late Ming Dynasty ——Focus on the Interpretation of “It is easy to be a sage, but difficult to be a literatus”
Abstract:Since the late Ming Dynasty was a common turning point between Neo-Confucianism and literature, there must be a certain connection between the two. Although a few scholars have revealed this, it has not attracted attention yet. As the master of Neo-Confucianism in the late Ming Dynasty, Feng Congwu’s viewpoints on literature and Tao revolved around the argument:“It is easy to be a sage, but difficult to be a literatus”. While denying that literature is the mainstay, he also pays great attention to literature, showing an overall vigilant attitude towards literature. Feng Congwu’s views on literature and Tao are very closely integrated with the environment of Neo-Confucianism in the late Ming Dynasty and his own Neo-Confucianism. His emphasis on the metaphysical nature of“good nature” cuts off the possibility of literature carrying or reflecting the“truth of mind and nature”. Behind his spare no effort to argue against the “wise men” represented by the “people of literature”is actually an unremitting refutation of the leftist “heresy” thinking of Wang’s Theory.
