| 中文摘要:基于2000-2007年中国工业企业数据库、中国海关进出口数据库与企业专利数据库的匹配数据，从知识宽度视角测算企业专利质量，实证研究了专利质量对企业出口国内附加值率的影响。研究发现，企业专利质量的提升显著促进了企业出口国内附加值率的上升，且这一结论非常稳健；异质性分析表明，一般贸易企业和混合贸易企业、外资企业以及沿海地区受企业专利质量的影响更大；进一步检验发现，专利质量主要通过“生产率效应”和“相对价格效应”两种渠道来影响出口国内附加值率。 |

| Effects of Patent Quality on the Export DVAR |

| Abstract:Based on the matching data of industrial enterprise database, customs database and the enterprise patent data from 2000-2007, measuring the patent quality by the knowledge breadth method, we empirically explore the impact of patent quality on the Chinese enterprises’ export domestic value-added rate. The results show that the quality of patents plays a significant role in promoting the export domestic value-added rate, and this conclusion is quite robust. Through heterogeneity test, we find that general trading and mixed trading enterprises, foreign enterprises and coastal areas are affected more obviously by the increase of patent quality. Further analysis reveals that the “productivity effect” and “relative price effect” are vital channels through which patent quality affects the domestic value-added rate. |
