Abstract:As a multi-modal text, image serves as an essential carrier for effectively enhancing the sense of community for the Chinese nation. The symbolic imagery of this sense is continuously formed, reshaped, and enriched through typified transmission and repetitive expression within image frameworks. This process relies on the multidimensional interaction of visual grammars such as representation, metonymy, and metaphor, thereby constructing a visual imagery system capable of evoking emotional resonance and fostering identification with the Chinese national community. Through the emotional and semantic conveyance enabled by visual representation, metonymy, and metaphor, these images transform rational concepts into emotional experiences, rendering abstract ideas concrete, perceptible, and recognizable. Ultimately, this process contributes to the sense of community for the Chinese nation. |
