| 中文摘要:选取世界范围内具有影响力的四家新闻媒体——《中国日报》《印度时报》《纽约时报》《泰晤士报》，以其2014—2020年有关数字鸿沟的报道为研究语料，比较这些主流新闻媒体在报道数字鸿沟时的异同，旨在探究新闻媒体对“数字鸿沟”议题的建构方式及其与国家全球数字鸿沟位置的内在关联。研究运用内容分析法，从数字鸿沟的具体类型、内涵、报道议题、情感倾向及报道主体等维度展开跨文化比较。研究揭示了媒体在构建数字鸿沟时的差异化视角与策略，并剖析了国家在全球数字格局中的结构性位置对其媒体话语建构的深层影响。 |

| China and the World in the Digital Age：A Comparative Study on the Media Construction of the Digital Divide |

| Abstract:This paper selects four influential news media in the world—China Daily from China, The Times of India from India，The New York Times from the United States，and The Times from the United Kingdom. Their reports on the digital divide from 2014 to 2020 are compared to explore the media construction of the “digital divide”. Employing content analysis, this paper makes an intercultural comparison of the specific types，the connotations，agendas，emotional tendencies and the actors involved concerning the digital divide. It tries to unveil the distinctive perspectives and strategies adopted by news media in constructing the digital divide，and delve deeper into how a nation’s structural position within the global digital landscape profoundly shapes its media discourse construction. |
